For years, I thrived in the fast paced world of restaurants, working my way up from the kitchen to management. As a cook, I loved the thrill of creating dishes that brought people together, and as a manager, I cherished building teams that made it all possible.
But over time, I found myself drawn to the roots of it all - literally.
While running restaurants taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, organization, and creativity, my favorite moments were always centered around the ingredients themselves. I began to realize that my passion wasn’t just in preparing food, but in understandin where it came from. That realization took me from the heat of the kitchen to the cool, rich soil of my own backyard.
What started as a simple home garden - a few tomato plants, some herbs, and maybe a pepper or two - quickly turned into an obsession. Watching someting grow from seed to harvest felt like magic, and I couldn’t get enough. Over time, my garden expanded into a full fledged farm, where I now focus on growing vibrant vegetables and fruits that I’m proud to share with my community.
Farming has been as challenging as it is rewarding. It’s taught me patience, resilience , and a new appreciation for the cycles of nature. It’s also reconnected me with the joy of feeding people, but this time, I’m working a the source. There’s something deeply fulfilling about knowing the food I grow will end up nourishing families, just as it once did in the dishes I cooked.
When I’m not out in the field, you’ll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen with my latest harvest or planning what to plant next season. Whether it’s through farming, cooking, or simply sharing my story, my goal is alwyas the same: to cultivate connections between people and the food they eat.
That’s a little about me - a cook turned gardener turned farme, chasing a dream rooted in the love of fresh, honest food.
