I started my professional life in bustling kitchens, working as a chef. The heat, the creativity, the adrenaline - it was environment where I thrived. From crafting intricate dishes to perfecting flavors, I fell in love with the art of food. But my passion didn’t stop at the plate. I wanted to understand the ingredients at their core, which led me to a career as a butcher.
As a professional butcher, I gained an appreciation for sustainability, balance, and the connection between land, animals, and the food we eat. Breaking down cuts of meat and working directly with farmers deepened my respect for how food is produced. Hovever, over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the other side of the culinary equation - the soil, the plants, and the seasons that determine what’s on our plates.
That’s when I decided to trade in my knives for seeds and soil. I’ve transitioned from chef and butcher to full time vegetable and fruit farme, and honestly, it feels like coming home.
Growing food is about mor than just cultivating crops - it’s about nurturing life, respecting the land, and creating a connection between what we eat and where it comes from. These days you’ll find me on the farm, tending to rows of vegetables, pruning fruit trees, and embracing the ever changing rhythms of nature. Farming has brought me a new sense of purpose and joy. I now see the process full circle, from seed to harfest, from the field to the table.
I still bring my chef’s touch to what I grow - choosing varieties with unique flavors, experimenting with heirloom crops, and focusing on quality over quantity. My hope i that the food I grow inspires others to cook, eat well, and appreciate the beauty of fresh, local ingredients.
Life has taken me from the intensity of restaurant kithcnes to the e tranquiity of the farm, and I wouldn’t hav it any other way. For me, it’s a way of life - one that I’m proud to cultivate, one harvest at a time.
